I am writing to you about Child abuse/domestic violence/money talks. 

It has been stated over and over that our children are our "Nation's most precious resource".  If that is really true and not just a slogan to make people look good, then why doesn't our government do something to protect "our most precious resouces?" 

As it stands, children have no voices in our society.  Their voices are too young to be heard, let alone count for anything! 

Thousands and thousands of children are being abused physically, emotionally verbally and sexually every single day by a biological parent. Many are even being killed because no one would listen or take the cries of abuse seriously. 

When it comes to domestic violence, it seems to be looked at as "someone else's problem".  I am so sick of women and children being threatened,  abused, beaten, tormented and killed by a man who has biological "rights." 

When are our courts going to wake up to what is going on? When is someone of "authority or connections" finally going to start doing something towards child abuse PREVENTION! And not just come in after it has happened time after time? 

So many wonderful people are out there fighting and helping children and women who have been abused, but still the laws need to be changed. Until get people to force the government to face these issues and get some laws in there that we can stand on to protect our children, it will never stop. 
Judges in our country and evaluators in consiliation courts are being bought and paid for every day. Unless a woman who leaves a batterer has a lot of money (which is rarely the case), she is in for a long hard road to keep herself and mostly her children protected from abuse of the 
biological father. 

Mother's are no longer allowed by law to protect our children from harm. We're made out to be these disgraceful creatures who are trying to prevent a "meaningful" relationship between father and child. Then mothers are arrested and have their children taken away and put directly in the hands 
of the abuser, because they interferred! 

How come our government gives MORE protection to animals that are on the endangered species list, than our own children?  If you think this is not true, you are being very naive as to what takes place in courtrooms. 

Why not walk a mile in the shoes of a mother who is desperate to protect her kids, yet are told "before we can help you, the child must FIRST sustain a life threatening injury first, like a cracked skull (I quote from Child Protective Service in Arizona), and be placed in a hospital to have it documented". 

When is someone going to listen to our cries for help?  How many more women & children need to be abused and killed before they start taking us seriously? 

We have formed a group of scared, angry and frustrated mothers who are tired of having our children's safety put on the line, simply because a biological father has "rights". Our children have rights too! Just because someone biologically father's a child, does not make him a fit 
person to be a real father and care for that child! 

Our organization is called: National Voices for Rights of Children. We are going to keep crying out and making noise until someone believes us and stands with us in our battle to go before our government and get laws passed and changed, that will allow PROTECTION for our children, 
and ourselves. 

This violence, torment, intimidation, lies and injustice will never stop until our government starts listening and believing us when we cry out "I'm scared, and my child is in danger! Please help me!"  It is not God's will for any of these little ones to suffer!

Dear sir Madam:
I am writing to let you know of something that I think should be of interest to your publication's readers across this nation of so called free people. I am Cherokee Indian of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma and I feel that my civil rights have been violated, along with many others in my tribe, and even denied by the actions of our federal government.

First, let me give you a short history of the crisis racking our Nation.  Back in Feb. this year processes were begun to bring to task the Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation for suspected improprities with Tribal and federal funds, a court ordered search warrant was issued by our tribal justice system and carried out by our legaly sworn marshal service.  Boxes of possible evidenc were secured by the marshals and turned over to the tribal prosecutor.

Then the Chief promptly orderd total law enforcement fired, then tried to order our Tribunal justices to remove the prosecutor; they stedfastly refused. Then the chief set into motion a plan to get rid of them all.  At this point, one needs to be fimiliar with our Constitution, it is based on and mirrors some of the Constitution of the United States. Our Judicial Appeals Tribunal, which number three (3) are similar to the US Supreme Court.  They are charged with interpretation of our Constitution and to hear appeals from the lower court, and any other judicial business that needs their attention, and they are to whom I refer to above, "them all". In his going ROGUE the Chief has, some how cajoled eight (8) of the fifteen Councilors to go along with his madness, our Constitution plainly states that the presenses of ten (10) two thirds, of the elected fifteen (15)legislators are required for a quorum to conduct any business whatsoever. He directed them to set up a court of removal, which they did, with the deputy Chief declaring himself supreme judge of the Cherokee Nation, they proceeded to impeach the Tribunal Justice's. No where in the Constitution are there any provisions for his Judgeship,let alone the lack of quorum to conduct business. Under the rules of this same illegal meeting, deemed so by the Tribunal,invited in the BIA, they came in under the guise of  protection for the Cherokee at large, they have never left his side, preventing our marshal service from serving arrest warrants on him, as our Tribunal has not accepted the rulings of the illegal ouster attempt and have declared the marshals still the law enforcement arm of the Cherokee Nation.

The arrest warrants were directed to all law enforcement agencys to apprehend the Chief and deputy Chief. They are being totaly ignored by all law enforcement including the City,County,State and the BIA, in fact the BIA carries one around in their pocket while they are having coffee with Chief Byrd. The BIA even went so far as to file a bogus injuunction case in federal Court to get the marshals disarmed on the day they were set to arrest the Chief and Deputy Chief, and got it temporarily. In the predawn hours following the District Judge's dismissal of the case they staged a raid on the Cherokee Nation Court house, with the aid of the City, County and the BIA law officers in an attempt to get at the boxes of evidence, the two unarmed marshals stood steadfast and called in the FBI to take charge of the boxes of evidence. Now it seems that our only hope is the FBI, and the fact they seem to be neutral in all of this, if not then The Cherokee Nation may be Lost as we know it.

With all of our begging and pleading, the federal elected officials are turning a deaf ear, it appears that the backing of Chief byrd goes all the way to the top in the DNC, this is where it begins here locally.There is so much that needs to be said about this, so many familys being hurt, employees being abused, tribal and federal money being wasted.I will stop at this point. and refer you to a site on the internet where a lot of what I am saying and more can be substantiated.
